The Landmark trim has specific “Landmark” badging and it rides on 21” wheels. The base trim rides on 19” wheels, while the others ride on 20”. The higher trims are equipped with rear fog lights too. The rear end features LED taillights and a large rear bumper, along with the “Discovery” badge in stylish capital fonts. The MDX's cramped third-row is compenssated by better cargo capacity. However, the BMW X5 boasts the largest cargo room and spacious first row amongst the competition. However, Discovery also has the worst cargo capacity with all the rows up. The Bimmer does not come with a third row, and the Discovery offers better third-row spacing. The Acura MDX has the most cramped third row and the Cadillac XT6 is also not comfortable with respect to third-row. When the second-row seats are folded, the cargo capacity increases to 83.7 cu-ft The cargo capacity behind the third-row of seats is a mere 10.1 cu-ft but the same can be folded and the cargo space extends to 41.3 cu-ft. The Discovery also delivers the least range despite having the largest fuel tank of the lot. The 2020 Discovery is the least fuel-efficient and BMW X5 is the most fuel-efficient SUV. With a fuel tank capacity of 23.5 gallons, the combined range for both engines is 423 miles and 517 miles respectively. Similarly, the diesel engine is rated at 21/26/23 MPG for city/highway/combined driving. The EPA-estimated fuel-efficiency of the supercharged gas engine is 16 mpg in the city, 21 mpg on the highway and 18 mpg in combined driving conditions. The 2020 Land Rover Discovery lets you choose between fuel efficiency and power. The Discovery decelerates from 60 mph to 0 mph within 133-ft, while the X5, XT6 and MDX stops at 119-ft, 120-ft and 121-ft respectively The Land Rover and the BMW are the heaviest vehicles on the list, while the Acura MDX is the lightest. However, the Acura MDX is praise-worthy as its the least powerful but offers second-best acceleration figures. However, the BMW X5 is the quickest accelerating SUV in the comparison, followed by Acura MDX, Discovery and Cadillac XT6. The 2020 Land Rover Discovery is the most powerful of the lot and offers respectable acceleration for its size. The rugged SUV feels more front-heavy and hence maneuverability is not that great. Even in normal driving conditions, the steering feels numb and there is no feedback from it. However, the Discovery comes with higher ground clearance, leading to higher center of gravity and its handling suffers at high speeds on sharp curves. With its available air suspension, the comfort is enhanced to a greater extent. The Discovery is a good off-roader and offers good comfort under different driving conditions.
